Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY; born 17 March, 1988) is professionally known as Grimes, is a Canadian musician who sings, writes songs, as well as a record producer. [2][3] The range of her music from the beginning is described as "lo lo R&B" and "futuristic dance-pop". Her music has included elements of hip-hop, electronic and rock. She frequently incorporates science fiction and feminist themes within her lyrics. She's recorded five albums. Born and raised in Vancouver (later shifting to Montreal), Grimes began publishing music in the late 2000s and released two albums, Geidi Primes and Halfaxa In 2010, she released her first album on Arbutus Records. In 2012, Visions the third album she released on her studio. The band was signed to 4AD. Visions is comprised of the singles "Genesis," and "Oblivion". The album was awarded the Juno Award of the Canadian Music Industry for Electronic Album of the Years. Art Angels, her fourth studio album, debuted in the year 2015. A number of publications have rated it the best album. The fifth studio album Miss Anthropocene, was launched in the year 2020. Grimes has also been an actor and judge on Alter Ego's music contests, performed as singer in Cyberpunk 2077 which was released 2020. Grimes Grimes Grimes
