Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress who was known for her performances in various types of film, television, and theatre. The actress received many awards, including a Daytime Emmy Award and a National Board of Review Award. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney September 6 1953) is an American actress from the United States. She is well known for her portrayal of Lieutenant Sheba on the tv show Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). She is the granddaughter and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart. Lockhart began her career at very young age. She first acted around the age of 4 when she appeared in T is for Tumbleweed. The short film about the topic was nominated by the Academy Awards. She spent time with her mother on the set, where she learned about the workings of the company. Lockhart has even appeared on many Lassie episodes. Her debut film came out as Dora in Jory in 1972. When she was 18, she played the daughter of Joan Crawford in 1972 television series The Sixth Sense. Joan Crawford's last role on stage. According to rumors, Anne declined the role as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's horror film Halloween, which then was cast as Jaime Lee Curtis. Ms. Carpenter says that he wanted her for the role but she declined her back. Anne did not remember John Carpenter contacting her or offer the part. It is possible that one of her representatives decided to decline the role on her behalf without informing the actress. Glen Larson sent her an early draft of a script in which she would play the role of the role of a character on 1978's TV program Battlestar Galactica. The actress initially refused the part due to the fact that her character wasn't to be strong enough. Then Glen made a different part just for her with an even stronger character called Sheba. The Living Legend was accepted after Glen read the 25 page script. The movie lasted only one season. She co-starred in Joyride with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
